Bulk ID card generator — Excel in, print-ready sheets out.
Stop typing names into Word one card at a time. Upload an Excel or CSV file and a photos folder, and IDCardGen builds every card — then packs them onto sheets ready to print and cut.
Excel & CSV import
Upload .xlsx or .csv. Columns like Name, Class, Roll No. and Photo are recognised automatically.
Photo auto-matching
Photos are linked to rows by file name or serial number — no manual dragging.
Sheets that fit your paper
Choose A4, A3, A5, Letter or Legal; the cards-per-sheet count is shown before you print.
Duplex front + back
Back sheets are mirrored so each back lands exactly behind its front when printed double-sided.
300 & 600 DPI output
Print-shop resolution, with RGB or CMYK PDF output for PVC and offset printers.
Cancel anytime
A progress bar shows every card being rendered; cancelling a run uses no credits.
FAQ
How many ID cards can I generate at once?
There is no fixed limit — institutions regularly export 500 to 2,000 cards in one run.
What format should my Excel sheet be in?
One row per person and one column per field (Name, Class, Roll No., Photo…). The first row should contain the column names.
How are photos linked to people?
Add a Photo column with each file name (for example 101.jpg) and upload the photos; IDCardGen matches them automatically.
Can I print on PVC cards?
Yes. Export a CMYK PDF at 300 or 600 DPI for PVC card printers, or individual PNG images at true card size.
